In today’s video I’m going to share with you a network marketing lead generation tip when it comes to prospecting your family and friends.
There are multiple ways to build a network marketing company. You have your customer base that use the products, you have the actual business building side and you also have customers who love the products, get great results and they naturally fall into building the business.
Today I want to talk about approaching your friends and family to build your customer base.
Now you know your friends and family the best but in most instances, they’re not going to be the ones who are genuinely interested in building a MLM.
You need to remember that whilst you may have the Entrepreneurial mindset, most of the people surrounding you at the moment, don’t.
If that’s the case then you should focus on introducing them to the products first.
By doing this, you need to firstly and most importantly, identify what their needs and wants are.
By doing this, you need to ask lots and lots of questions.
You should already have somewhat of a rapport or relationship with them so it’s about reaching out and creating a conversation with them.
Asking them how things are going and delving into their life.
Through this conversation, you should be able to identify whether what you have could be a problem solver for them.
For example, if you’re in a health & wellness niche and you’ve been taking the products, loving the products and getting some great results.
And you have some family members that have told you that they want to lose weight or have more energy, whatever it is that your products help with.
The best thing you can do then is say something along the lines of ‘hey, I’m doing these thing, now it’s my business but I don’t think you’ll be interested in the business side but I really do think you will really like the products. It’s helped me blah blah blah, whatever your results are so I really think it will help you and then refer back to what they’ve just told you is their problem. Whether it’s losing weight or whatever.
Then ask them for permission to send them information. They’re either going to say yes or no.
Either way, it shouldn’t bother you. If they say no, that’s all good, just move on to the next person. If they say yes, then this is the opportunity to send them some further information about your products.
