Generating leads to talk to is the lifeblood of your MLM and network marketing business. If you don’t have people to talk to, then your business will become stagnant and never grow.

Unfortunately, many people never make it past the initial stage of making a list of their family and friends, calling a few of them, experiencing mild to moderate results and then “running out” of people to talk to, which leads them to quit their mlm or network marketing business.

This doesn’t have to be the case!

There are tons of methods out there for generating high quality mlm and network marketing leads for your business. You just have to get creative and think out of the box.

Don’t get me wrong… generating leads for your mlm and network marketing business is hard work. Leads aren’t going to just magically appear if you sit at the computer and think about it hard enough. You’ve got to hustle. You’ve got to get out there and DO SOMETHING to generating high quality leads for your mlm and network marketing business if you want to have success.

If you’re willing to put in the work though, then prospecting really isn’t that hard. In fact, it can be pretty darn simple. And it doesn’t have to cost you a ton of money, either.

In this 3-day series, I am going to share 10 ways to generate mlm and network marketing leads for your business that are low-cost options.

MLM and Network Marketing Lead Generation Tip #1:

Online Classified Ads

Online Classified Ads are one of my favorite ways to generate mlm and network marketing leads for my business. If you do it the right way, these leads can be high quality and very highly targeted. It’s all about the way you compose your ad.

Do point out the benefits — flexible hours, no pay ceiling, fun work environment.

Do not point out that this is an mlm or network marketing opportunity.

Do point out the kind of people you are looking for — people who are motivated, who like to be around people, and who like to work without too much boss supervision.

Do not send your lead directly to a company website, have them email you or have them call you.

If you send them to a website, they will look around and you’ll never hear from them.

If you have them email or call you, you will be overwhelmed with too many leads who are not qualified for your opportunity.

The BEST way to do this that I’ve found… and believe me, I’ve tested it a LOT… is to send them directly to a website that is one-page only, without a lot of text and with a form to put in their information.

By implanting this sales funnel process, you are taking a high volume of unqualified leads who have no interest in your opportunity and filter them down into a moderate sized group of highly targeted, highly interested prospects for your mlm and network marketing business.

The sales funnel I use for my own personal ads, and teach my team to use, has 2 pages.

The first page has a small amount of information and asks for their email address only. Once they fill that out, they are automatically taken to a second page with a 3 minute overview video about my business with a long form underneath.

By creating my funnel in this way, I am only calling the people who fill out the long form, after watching the 3 minute video.

This is a CRUCIAL step to remember if you are going to use online classifieds as a way to generate leads for your mlm and network marketing business.

MLM and Network Marketing Lead Generation Tip #2:

Local Bulletin Boards

This may sound a little old school, but when you combine this method with the sales funnel I listed about, it’s a great way to generate lots of local leads for your mlm and network marketing business who are highly qualified.

Check your local supermarket, post office, veterinarian office, church, etc and look to see if they have bulletin boards available for customers/members to post information. There may be some guidelines, but if you follow them properly you should be able to find a creative way to promote your product or opportunity.

Send these people straight to your sales funnel, and call the ones who make it all the way through. It’s a great way to start building a local team!
