In this edition, I answer a question from a viewer and discuss methods related to MLM leads generation for an MLM or Network Marketing business. Isn’t obvious now that you need leads and prospects flow in order to building an MLM business? It is.

QUESTION – Hi Ola
I love your approach. I’m thinking of starting in an MLM. I was wondering if you could, or others in the business, answer this question for me.

Do your prospect have to be close to you or you can find prospect all over the world. Reason I ask is I’m wondering if we can serve those prospect just as well as the one close to you.

So in traditional MLM, they refer to people close to you as the warm market and the rest of the world as cold market. Newbies in most cases or often a times have been convinced that all they need is to contact their warm market.

This is a mistake. It’s a mistake that’s often practiced in teach new real estate agents as well. They convince them that their existing circle of influence is good enough.

It may be good enough to launch a brand new business for some but it’s not good enough for most. It’s definitely now good enough to become highly competitive professional in MLM, Real Estate or any business

100% reliance on your close loved ones as your source of MLM leads can actually potentially make you lose your relationships.

The motive to contact them becomes about money and building a business. When the response is negative, you get needy and start chasing. When you start chasing, you run them off.

Remember that oversupply and unsolicited supply kills value. So, close family and friends is an okay place to launch your business from but it is not a source of MLM leads.

This question from the viewer is a fantastic and profound question with a simple answer. I want to break it down in a simple formula for you so you can apply the concept over and over until you hit a 6 and 7 figure income.

This question from the viewer indicates a full understanding that you need to attract people (MLM leads) somehow and some way. The keyword here is “attract”. I prefer attracting the prospects.

Frankly, you may chase after and stalk people to show your presentation; it can work if you do it long enough. I personally hate that process and I refuse to stalk people. Most people I’ve met in the business hate it as well.

Every now and then, I meet someone who claims to not mind. At the very minimum, they have one or 2 team members who hate stalking too or cold prospecting to build an MLM. So they are losing money too.

Also, you hear about warm and cold market. But you never hear about hot market. What is hot market?

Hot market is that sector of the market that may have started as cold but have been exposed to you and your brand from a value stand point. Hence why I recommend that my students lead their MLM leads generation with value.

It’s very simple.

STEP 1 – Find out who your ideal prospect is

STEP 2 – Find out what your ideal prospect hates, likes and what their most hurtful and painful thing is

STEP 3 – Supply solution and answers to all your findings in step 2 in the form of published content.
